Disclaimer
The IGOA team makes no guarantee of the quality, reliability, usability, availability, or suitability of any IGOA data for any particular purpose. IGOA data should not be used for any life-critical functions. Users assume all risks and liabilities, direct or indirect, associated with any use of IGOA data.
Data Repositories
According to the data delivery policy indicated below, the following data are available for download:
(1) Data from the IGOA — relating to the permanent GNSS stations TNB1 and TNB2, the former MALOX periodic stations, and the VLNDEF geodetic monitoring network — are available in compressed RINEX format (Hatanaka compressed).
(2) Data from the permanent GNSS stations VL01, VL12, and VL30 are available in accordance with the rules on data use and dissemination defined by UNAVCO.
Time series from the IGOA stations (except for LRSN and INXP) are available on the Nevada Geodetic Laboratory (NGL) GPS Networks Map.
Data Policy
All data archived by the Italian Geodetic Observatory in Antarctica (IGOA) have been collected within the framework of the Italian National Antarctic Program (Programma Nazionale di Ricerche in Antartide – PNRA) supported by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR). Data collected by IGOA are freely available for scientific purposes and are distributed, whether in real time or upon delayed collection, under an open data policy. Data must be used in compliance with the national regulations on data distribution (see the 7th section of the Law n. 383/2001).
To acknowledge support or data products from the PNRA for scientific purposes, users should use a statement such as “data provided by the Italian Geodetic Observatory in Antarctica (IGOA) facility and collected thanks to support from the Italian National Programme for Antarctic Research (PNRA – Programma Nazionale di Ricerche in Antartide). Access to data through the website https://www.igoa.unimore.it/data/“.
Whenever a research paper, proposal, or any other scientific initiative is based on, or makes substantial use of IGOA GNSS and pressure tide-gauge data, please contact Prof. Alessandro Capra (alessandro.capra@unimore.it).
